When You Give to MB Seminary
For a single gift or regular monthly giving, you can make an online donation using your Visa or MasterCard. You will be asked to enter contact information so that MB Seminary can provide you with a charitable donation receipt you at the end of the calendar year. Processing fees for online gifts are approximately 3% per transaction, similar to what retailers charge for purchases.
Many people find the ease of electronic giving a great enhancement to their regular gifts to MB Seminary. Such consistent giving provides additional benefits to the seminary as we plan and deliver quality education. To start giving electronically, please download, complete, and submit MB Seminary’s pre-authorized debit agreement. IN-KIND GIFTS, STOCKS, AND MARKETABLE SECURITIES
MB Seminary is able to receive various kinds of marketable securities (including stock certificates) from corporations and individuals. In-kind gifts are also welcome and include assets such as real estate, automobiles, commodities, and other property. Such gifts often result in current-year income tax deductions and may have other tax benefits as well.

Estate and planned giving invests in the future of MB Seminary and can also provide you with income now, along with tax benefits for the present and for your estate. Spending of funds is confined to programs and projects approved by the Seminary. Each restricted contribution designated towards such an approved program or project will be used as designated with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason determined by the Seminary, the remaining restricted contributions will be used where needed most as determined by the Seminary.
MB Seminary is recognized by Revenue Canada as a charitable organization. All gifts are fully deductible to the extent allowed by Revenue Canada.
