Master of Arts Chaplaincy & Spiritual Care
MB Seminary’s Master of Arts in Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care equips students to become professional chaplains and spiritual care practitioners who serve others with a ministry developed for their specific field of practice. Professional competencies and best practices are developed following the recognized standards of the discipline, along with a robust theological foundation. Classes within the degree, including Clinical Psychospiritual Education (CPE), are highly contextualized for the learner’s area of ministry in both public sector and faith-based settings. The Master of Arts in Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care is a 3 year, 58 credit degree program designed to ensure immediate life and ministry impact. Learners take courses in both theological and chaplaincy studies, with over half the degree focused on developing spiritual care competencies.
