To The Cross – Easter 2026

MB Seminary’s 2026 Easter devotional is entitled To The Cross. This free resource will begin on Ash Wednesday (February 18) and conclude on Easter Sunday (April 5).

This year’s series will be divided into weekly themes that reflect on the significance of Jesus’s death and resurrection. During Passion Week, the readings will focus on the Gospel narratives that record Jesus’s arrest, trial, crucifixion, and resurrection. Each devotional will be written by a representative from an MB church and/or agency.

How can I sign up?

This is a free resource that is sent to email subscribers (the sign up form is below).

After subscribing, you will begin receiving emails on February 18. Please add communications@mbseminary.ca to your safe senders list so that these emails are directed to your inbox (instead of landing in your junk or spam folders). If you cannot locate the daily email from MB Seminary, check your junk and spam folders and then change your filter settings so that future emails will arrive in your inbox.
When will I begin receiving the emails?

After subscribing, you will begin to receive daily emails on February 18. If you sign up on or after February 18, emails will be sent to you the day after you sign up.

The emails are scheduled to send at approximately 2:30 am (Pacific Time) so that subscribers from various time zones will receive it in the morning.

History

Since 2015, MB Seminary has worked together with our national constituency to develop devotional readings for the seasons of Advent (Christmas) and Lent (Easter). Entries are written by authors from MB churches and/or agencies and the text of the day usually follows a specific book of the Bible or is chosen from The Revised Common Lectionary.

The purpose of the resource is to encourage people to read the Bible and to experience how its message can shape their lives. Each devotional is connected to the assigned Bible reading for that day. While the writings are intended for readers to discuss in small group settings, they can also be read individually.
