Teaching Churches

Teaching Churches are academic partnerships between MB Seminary and congregations. The partnership provides students as well as non-credit learners with church-based education and training.

Academic Credit

You can earn graduate or undergraduate credit for Teaching Church courses by becoming a student at MB Seminary

Personal Interest

You can participate in the onsite learning experience which will feel similar to an extended workshop (no academic credit)

Online Options

We also offer online courses – it’s a flexible way to work toward your grad certificate at a faster pace!

How do we build relationships across cultures within our culturally diverse neighbourhoods and church communities? This workshop will explore how cultural awareness and intercultural skills open new opportunities to share the love of Christ through hospitality and friendship. We will also explore how we can serve more effectively on multicultural teams and through cross-cultural partnerships.

This course explores a selection of current theological issues. We will reflect briefly on principles that help us engage theological problems effectively, and on the landscape of contemporary Christian theological debate.
