Doctor of Ministry

The MB Seminary Doctor of Ministry prepares scholar-practitioners to bring doctoral-level theological reflection into the ministries they already lead. Rooted in Anabaptist convictions and designed for pastors, leaders, chaplains, and spiritual care providers across Canada, this 31-credit program holds rigorous scholarship and active ministry together as mutually enriching pursuits. Students learn alongside a cohort of peers, both online and in residency. The program culminates in an applied ministry project that addresses a significant challenge or opportunity and makes a lasting impact in the student’s own setting. The result is leaders more deeply formed and better equipped to strengthen the churches and communities they serve.
