Convictions & Discipleship
What does it mean to be a community of disciples living our Christian convictions as members of the church in the world? Why do biblical descriptions of the church emphasize community so strongly? This course will focus on the key elements of visible discipleship as articulated in selected denominational theological documents, drawing upon the principle of letting biblical conceptual language about discipleship shape the theological convictions of the believing community.
THS 510 is a required course in the MA in Transformational Leadership, the MA in Chaplaincy & Spiritual Care, and the Master of Divinity.
