Spiritual Formation for Practitioners
This course is designed to facilitate the spiritual formation for Spiritual and Pastoral Care Practitioners for professional ministry. The interdisciplinary perspective will focus on understanding spiritual formation in the context of theology, human development, and contemporary culture. Such an approach will facilitate increased awareness and understanding of the individual practitioner’s being, vocational and spiritual identity, further equipping them to minister professionally and grow in attentiveness to God. Opportunity will be given for theological and therapeutic reflection regarding the presence of God and the sacred in one’s life and clinical practice. The course will require self-reflection, interactive exercises, experiential learning and group discussion.
